Our Story

Russ Rice's passion for fundraising began early. As a student, he was consistently a top seller in school fundraisers and enjoyed connecting with people while helping his high school groups raise money for trips and special projects.

Years later, Russ reached out to the very fundraising company his school had partnered with—and was hired during that first phone call. He quickly rose to become the company's top salesperson.

In 1989, Russ experienced a life-changing transformation when he became a Christian. With a desire to pursue seminary in California, where he had spent much of his life, he began seeking a way to both continue his education and provide for his family. At the time, he and his wife, Carina, were living in Michigan with their three young children.

With the support of his former employer, Russ launched his own company—Signature Fundraising—with the goal of funding his seminary education while serving others. What began as a step of faith quickly grew into something much greater.

Through God's providence, Signature Fundraising has grown to become one of the largest fundraising companies in America. Today, Russ remains committed to leading the company with integrity, striving to glorify God in how he serves customers and cares for employees.
